Finger
painting Valentine Pictures
Materials :
- Glue
- Paper plate
- Food Coloring
- Straw (or
something to mix the glue & the food coloring with)
- (click

- Scissors
- Construction Paper
Directions:
- Have child squeeze
glue onto paper plate in 4 different places
- Have child put a
drop of food coloring in each pile of glue, ask them what colors
they would like to do
- Have the child mix
the food coloring and the glue with a straw or something
else.
- As the glue changes
color the child can then finger paint their heart with the different
colored glue on the plate
- Let heart dry
- Cut out heart and
glue onto a colored construction paper
- You can also have
the child color the heart too.
- Give the Valentine
to someone you love!
