Chocolate Bundt Cake (submitted by Karen Woodward . . . the best cook EVER!!) Ingredients: 1 box choc. cake mix (I use triple choc. or dark choc. fudge) 1c water 1 small instant choc. pudding (I use milk choc.) 1/2c canola oil 1c sour cream 4 eggs 6oz. choc. chips (I use milk choc.) DIRECTIONS: Dump all ingredients together (except choc. chips) and mix well. Blend in choc. chips. Grease and flour bundt pan then cook @350* for approx. 50 min. Set cooling rack on top of cake and then flip. You should be able to pull pan away.(make sure the pan and flute are greased really well or you''ll have a disaster at this point :) Frosting: 1 bag powdered sugar1/4c cream or 1/2 and 1/21t vanilla1 cube butter (softened) 1/4c cocoa Blend cream, vanilla, butter and cocoa with hand mixer. Add powdered sugar to desired spreading consistency. This is the yummiest chocolate cake I've ever tasted. (very rich) This has become a popular request for birthdays and tastes great with Breyers vanilla ice cream on the side. |
