I
can't believe I'm here updating for a new month already! Where
does the time go? I feel like so much has happened
this month I don't know where to start. We
had a great Mother's
Day. Ryan cooked dinner for me and his Mom.
He made Tri-tip, Ceasar Salad,
Cheese
Bread & Watermelon. It was
very tasty. We all went to church together in
one car for the 1st time in a LONG time. Every
Sunday Ryan has early morning meetings so me and the kids always
meet Ryan there. But this
Sunday he didn't have any. It was a nice change.
The kids were really good at church which was a pleasant surprise;
especially
Dalton(he is usually the one we have to worry about :)!! I
woke up to presents from Ashby, Dalton & Ryan.
Ashby made me a darling card written all by herself that said, "I
love you so much Mom." Dalton made me a card too and was
so excited to give it to me. Ashby also made a cute
flower pot she painted at preschool with soil & seeds
to plant together. Her Primary teacher also helped the kids
make a plant
with a picture of them in the pot as the flower that said, "Thanks
for helping me learn and
grow on the paper stems." It
was really cute. Ryan got me
a
pedicure. Yay! Love those. The
best part of the day for me was knowing how blessed I am to
be a Mother to two beautiful spirits from our Heavenly Father.
Life doesn't get much sweeter when I look at my
kids faces!! Next was Alex's birthday party.
We celebrated at Black
Rock Pizza. We had a great time and the food was delicious!
The kids always love seeing their grandparents and their Uncle
Alex. Next was Memorial Day weekend. We hung
out at the
pool and enjoyed a barbeque with friends. It was a
nice and relaxing weekend. Me and the kids went swimming
again during the week. The kids had a blast. We had
the pool all to ourselves which
was a lot of fun. Ashby started jumping off the side
into the
pool by herself with no one
to catch her. Dalton just swam and kicked around the pool the
whole time in this ring
floatie.
We
had so much fun. We are looking forward to a great summer full
of lots and lots of swimming! Ashby had swim lessons this
month at the local community center. She had a fun time in
Level 2 and did a good job improving her
swim strokes and getting stronger. Ashby also had her
last day of Preschool the end
of May. Tears were shed because her teacher is so amazing and
it was such a
wonderful experience for Ashby. Her teacher made the last day
very special for the kids. They had graduation
caps, sang us some songs as a class, received their own preschool
memory books
full of pictures of them and poems about each student.
It is a treausre we will always love. Ashby also is ending
her Dance season with
their performance
of the Wizard of Oz on Tues. & Wed. of next
week. She is a munchkin in the show. It is going to be a lot
of fun to watch her perform.
Ryan
had his first day on the job as a Judge this
month. He came home very excited and said everything went great.
He said he already
loves how rewarding it is. Ryan
had been very busy lately putting in some good hours. We were glad
to have him home
when he was not working! Ryan has also been playing
basketball Saturday mornings
at the church with some other guys. It has been
fun for him. He also started a business with
some friends in town putting on local concerts.
Stefani
is keeping busy
with the kids and enjoying the time she
has left with the both of them at home! I
started playing in the Women's
basketball league at
the YMCA again. It has been a lot of
fun and a great way for me to stay in
shape. Ryan
is so sweet to support
me and
adjust his schedule and step in to help
out with the
kids when
I have an early game. I am saving
the money I earn for vacations
this summer. We are planning
to go to Disneyland again and
a few other short trips. I have gotten
some more
website jobs to design, so I
am excited about that. I am still running
every day
on the treadmill and loving it.
My sister Kristi and
I are very excited to announce that we have started a Custom Digital
Photo Card Business.
We have some great custom cards for all occasions, Holidays, or invitations. customphotocards.blogspot.com

Ashby is 5
years old now! She is all registered for
half day
kindergarten. Her school is year round so her
first day will be July 13th. She is very excited
for school! We signed Ashby up to play
AYSO soccer in the Fall. She is really excited to
start playing. Ashby just finished swim lesson this month.
She did great and learned and improved a lot. Ashby also finished
up preschool this month. She loved her preschool class so it
was a bittersweet goodbye. She made a lot of great friends. Ashby
also is finishing up her Dance season with their big
year end performance on June
2nd and 3rd. This year they will
be performing The
Wizard of OZ. Ashby's class (the youngest ones) will
be the little munchkins. We are all excited
for the show! Ashby still loves to read. She enjoys reading chapter
books from the library lately. Some of her
favorites are Magic School Bus & Magic Tree House
Series. She
loves doing "homework" and
will do pages from workbooks all by herself without being told
to do so during quiet
time each day. What a kid!
Dalton
is 2
years
old. He will be turning 3 in July. He is always
keeping us on our toes and making us laugh. He is quite the little
swimmer we found out. He loves to swim around the pool in his little
ring floatie. He is starting to say some funny things now
to show his personality and a little independence. It makes Ryan and I laugh!
Here are a few examples, "Mommy don't say that to me!" or "Mommy
stop bossing me around!" or "Mommy I don't like that
song, its too loud!" He loves talking on the phone
to anyone who will listen. He loves to sing and knows
a lot of songs by heart including, "We thank thee
oh God for a Prophet, I love to See the Temple, and My Eternal
Family (the new song the kids in Primary are learning). He loves
to read books, especially
those with scary characters in
them. Some of his favorites
include Star Wars Jabba the Hutt book, and Transformers
robot book. He still loves special outings with Papa Bellows or
his Daddy. His new trick
is to yell at the top of his lungs in the morning that he needs
to go to the bathroom so we will run and get him.....when we get
him
out he says, "Oh I don't need to go!" Nice Dalton!! He loves playing
with Ashby and all her friends. He tries to keep up with them and
play anything they are playing with
.
