We had a great Christmas this year. The kids were so fun to watch open and enjoy all the presents. We had a great time being with family & participating in all the traditions of Christmas. Christmas Eve we spent with Stef's family. All the cousins dressed up & acted out a live nativity scene. It was really cute. Ashby was the angel. She was able to memorize her part which was a couple of verses of scriptures (Luke 2:10-12). We were all pretty impressed. Then Grandma Becky sang a Christmas Story to all the grandkids. Ashby & Dalton loved listening to her sing. Then all the grandkids & parents received new pajamas from Grandma & Grandpa Forman. The cousins also did a cousin gift exchange. Which they all seemed to enjoy. Christmas Day we opened presents at our house, then traveled to the Bellows house to open even more presents. Later in the day Stef's parents visited the kids at our house and brought them presents as well. It was a fun & busy day filled with visiting and fun.

Ryan had his formal review at his law firm. He received very high marks from all the partners. He is still busy and works very hard. Ryan found out he passed the Utah Bar! Yeah for Ryan! We are not moving to Utah..but are excited that he can defend a big client in Utah for his Firm now(also passing the Utah bar has reciprocity in 5 other states).

Stefani is keeping busy with the kids. Her favorite Christmas present was getting all her digital scrapbook pages printed out (finally!). Stef also just started designing another website for a heating & air conditioning firm in Houston Texas. Her portfolio is slowly growing. Stef's latest obsession is digital scrapbooking(click here to view scrapbook gallery). No messy scrapbooking supplies all over the house anymore (Ryan is thrilled!)

Ashby is 3 years old. Her favorite Christmas present is anything she is playing with at the time. But she really liked her hungry hungry hippos game & her rose petal cottage play house. She has been so excited to be going to preschool again. She loves playing with her friends & learning new things. Ashby is reading & spelling words. She can sound out just about any word now. She still loves coloring, decorating, & making crafts & cards for people. She will sit and color at the table for hours for her "quiet time". It is very nice for mom. Ashby loves trying to figure out how to spell & write her friends & family's names.

Dalton is 1 year old(17 months). His favorite Christmas present was his busy ball popper & the little people car garage. He is still a handful! If he's not into something he shouldn't be; he is climbing on anything he can. Dalton is very sweet though and quite the little snuggle bug. He loves to be held. It is nice to see when Ashby & Dalton play good together. I think Dalton finally figured out that Ashby can do a lot of nice things for him (like get him snacks that he can't reach from the pantry & helping him get on the couch).
