My sister Kristi and I are very excited to announce that we have started a Custom Digital Photo Card Business. We have some great custom cards for all occasions, Holidays, or invitations. customphotocards.blogspot.com Here is Ryder's announcement. It was a double-sided pearl finish:
She is a great big sister and loves playing with Dalton and helps watch Brooks a lot. She adores little Ryder and loves holding him. She loves watching Wheel of Fortune with us at night. She is pretty darn good too! One of her favorite things to do is still writing cards to family and friends. She loves drawing, playing games, and swimming! She loves to read new books with her Daddy about presidents of the United States and Politics. She is very creative and is always finding fun things to do.She never gets bored or runs out of ideas. We have noticed she is a very talented writer. She loves to write detailed stories & poems. We are so grateful for a bright, sweet child. Ashby loves to read; when it is quiet around the house Ashby is usually curled up reading a book somewhere. We enjoy watching Ashby's spirituality grow. She is very intuitive and sensitive to the Spirit. It is neat to watch this quality in her continue to grow. She loves reading the scriptures with us as a family and loves going to church and learning the Gospel with her friends.
He is a great little reader already and loves to play the Wii. He has become quite the little swimmer now. He loves wearing his goggles and diving for things underwater. He can swim without floaties on and loves to jump in from the side of the pool. He loves to swim! He has really been into Math lately. He loves to add numbers in his head, and count and measure things. He will start preschool again in September. He is excited about that. Dalton LOVES friends and cousins. He makes new friends quickly wherever we go. It is really cute.He is still obsessed with anything Star Wars. Dalton continues to love his CTR 4 class at church and is learning a lot. He loves to read the scriptures with us as a family and is really interested in all the stories. He is quick to remember things we have read together. He misses Ashby at school but is enjoying time with me Brooks and Ryder. Dalton is a great big brother. He will get me a diaper when I need one, hold Brooks, and is very gentle and loving towards him. It is really cute to watch him. He also likes drawing pictures or coloring in his Spiderman book. He loves playing games on Daddy's iphone. He has a great sense of humor and always has us laughing at his antics. He loves playing outside(especially swinging or having light saber battles) and riding his bike.
As soon as we brought Ryder home Brooks started saying his name. It is the cutest thing. He says it perfectly and loves to say it. He will find Ryder's pacifiers around the house and will bring them to me and say, "Ryder!". If Ryder starts crying Brooks will run to his car seat or start searching for him while saying his name over and over. "Ryder, Ryder, Ryder!" Brooks can say so many words now it is incredible. He can say pretty much anything we ask him to say. It is great because now he is better at telling us what he wants. Now everytime he sees Ryder he will say, "Soft" and come over and gently touch Ryder's hair or feet. We wish he would be "soft" with other members of the family! Brooks has started hitting, biting and pulling hair when he is upset. He has also discovered the power of the high pitched scream. It drives us all crazy! Brooks is really good when I have to feed Ryder multiple times a day. He doesn't try to climb in my lap or cry at all. He just plays and finds other things to do. So I have been really happy about that because that was my biggest worry. I think Dalton really helps with that too because he loves to play with Dalton. Brooks loves little containers to put things in and to open and close them. He loves to play with all of Dalton's Star Wars guys and make sound effects with them. He is obsessed with light switches and loves to turn them on and off. He climbs on everything now including the chairs, then onto the kitchen table or countertops.
Brooks loves to write and scribble with pens or crayons. He loves to be held. Brooks loves playing with these big foam swords we have. He will carry one in each hand all around the house. It is so funny. He loves to vacuum with his little toy vacuum and is obsessed with the real vacuum. If someone is vacuuming he has to be in their arms the whole time watching intently. He is such a joy to have in our family. He smiles and goes to just about anyone. He is such a happy baby. He loves interacting with people. He is very friendly and smiley to everyone when we are out and about. He will wave and smileat strangers when I am waiting in line. It is the cutest thing.
He started social smiling at us around 3 weeks old! He is very happy and loves to smile and coo. Ryder loves the baby gym. He will smile and coo at the red bird that hangs down. He is so happy and I will often catch him just smiling at himself or his hands while on the changing table. He loves to sleep in his car seat. If he gets tired or fussy he likes to be put in his car seat with his nuk and a favorite blanket and he falls right asleep. He will usually go 5-6 hours or sleep at night and once he went 8 hours straight! We hope that trend continues! |
