June
was a very busy month for us this year. We started
out the month with Ashby's Dance performance Aladdin.
It was fun to watch Ashby dance performance this year.
She loves an audience and shines on stage. She was smiling
non-stop
her
whole dance. The show was really cute. Next came my
30th birthday. I have to admit I still get
really excited for my birthday. Anyone who knows me well
knows that I am famous for having not only a birth"day" but
a birthday week. So this year I did not dissappoint. Ryan
took the day off
work and let me sleep in a bit and go for a 3 mile run. He also took
Dalton to work with him and took Ashby to school and picked
her up while I got ready for the day. I went on a birthday
shopping trip with my mom, dinner and more shopping with
Ryan, and
several more dinners with family and friends the rest of
the week. It was a wonderful birthday week! :)

Ashby graduated
Kindergarten the first part of June. She had several
fun things we were able to go to as a family. The first one was
the Alpha-friends Musical.
Ashby's
teacher puts on an end of the year Alpha-friends musical
put on by the kids. Each child is a letter of the alphabet.
Each child is also a certain alpha-friend they had to make and wear
a costume to represent. Ashby was Mimi Mouse. They
each had a part they had to memorize and say during the musical. Every
letter had a little song with actions the
children all sang after each alpha-friend said their part. It turned
out really cute. Ashby's teacher Mrs. Gilkey is a former music teacher
so they learned a lot through music and movement in her class. The
kids LOVED it!The scenery for the musical were paintings the children
did themselves of the alpha friend they were in the play. The kids
were all really
proud of their art-work. I thought it was such a cute idea.

Ashby
with her teacher Mrs. Gilkey. We loved her so much. Ashby had such
a great year in Kindergarten.

Ashby's
graduation was really cute. Her teacher put a lot of work into
it and made it extra special. They had a slideshow with pictures
and music and the kids sang songs and received their graduation
certificates one by one.
Ashby
was asked to sing a solo for the graduation with another girl in
her class. They sang, Big Beautiful Planet. It was really cute
and Ashby did a nice job. We are so proud of her and what a great
job she has done in school this year. She loves to learn and loves
school!

Ashby
had so much support for her graduation! She loved having everyone
come and felt very loved.

Ashby's
last day of school was a luau so she was able to wear her lei I
got her for graduation the next day. These are her good friends
Alison and Annika (identical twins from her class)
Father's
Day this year was kind of crazy. It was our Stake Conference so
Ryan had meetings and stake visits to go to most
of the day. The kids and I made him croissant french toast breakfast
before he had to leave in the morning and we gave him his presents
and cards(movie tickets and an Olive Garden gift card from me and
a sweet card from Ashby, Dalton & Brooks). The best present
however was probably being able to take an uninterrupted afternoon
nap! We made a nice dinner together at his request (pasta salad,
fruit, rolls, and ice cream for dessert). Hopefully it was a good
day for him b/c he really does deserve it!
Ryan has
been busy back at work. He
is still enjoying his new calling in
our ward as a High
Counselor. He recently was
in charge of
a ground-breaking ceremony of a new
chapel that is going to be built
in Sun Valley. It
is very exciting news and he was
pleased everything went so smoothly.
Ryan's
assignment is to be over a spanish
branch in Sun Valley. He
is enjoying using his spanish
from his mission
he served in Chile. Ryan
is still very
much enjoying
his Judgeship. It
continues to be
a welcome change
from the same
old and even very
rewarding. We
were glad
to have him home
when he was not working.
I
have been really enjoying my new BOB double
jogging stroller. It is
awesome!! Ashby will ride her bike with us while I push Brooks
and Dalton. It is really getting me back into shape.
I am loving having Ashby
off-track for 1 month. It has been so nice to sleep in and have
some days at the pool with no place else to go! We have been going
to the pool a lot and playing outside now that the weather is nice.
I am still serving in
the Primary Presidency in our ward. I love teaching the children
about the gospel. It makes me happy to be a teacher. I just love
teaching little children. It is kind of "my thing".
My sister Kristi and
I are very
excited to announce that we have started a Custom Digital Photo
Card Business.
We have some great custom cards for
all occasions, Holidays, or invitations. customphotocards.blogspot.com
Here is the card I
designed for Dalton's party. He wants a SuperMario Bro's. Party

Ashby is 6
years old. She graduating Kindergarten this
month and will go into 1st grade the end
of July!
So she only has about 1 month off before she goes
right back to school. Pretty crazy, but she loves
school so it is all good for her. She is excited
to start 1st grade and eat at school so she can bring
her lunch box! We ate hot lunch in the cafeteria
for the 1st time this month. She thought it was pretty
cool. Lately Ashby is really enjoying riding
her bike in the front yard and on long runs with Mom.
She
will bike 3 miles with me about 3 times a week. It
always amazes me how she can do it so easily.
Ashby is really enjoying the pool again this summer.
She is such
a water baby. She dives for rings and swims like
a little fish all over the pool. She loves
it. Ashby is a great big sister and loves to help
with Brooks. I am so grateful for her help. Ashby did a great job
in her Alpha-friends musical. She is very animated
and loves to sing and dance. She is fun to watch
perform. You can tell how much she loves it.

Dalton
is 3 years old and
will be turning
4 years old next month.
We got
him a new haircut and
I think
it
makes him look really
grown up. Dalton gave
his 1st
talk in Primary this
month. He did awesome.
He memorized
the 4th article of faith
and his whole talk. He
wasn't nervous at all
and remembered all the
words
to say. He loved being
able to be like the big
kids and talk into the
microphone all by himself.
It was really cute.
He is really
into playing
the wii games. He is
obsessed with Super Mario
Brothers
wii game. It is all he
talks about!! Dalton
is a great big brother.
He will get me a diaper
when I need one, hold
Brooks, and is very gentle
and loving towards him.
It is really cute to
watch him. He
is getting pretty good
at writing most of the letters
in his name. He also
started drawing pictures
of people. I
love when they start
to do that it is so
cute. He is also pretty
good
at telling
you what letters words
start with. Some
of the things Dalton
says are hilarious.
He is constantly
quoting funny lines
in Disney movies.
It is pretty funny.
The other day when
Daddy was playing
a
wii game
and he won Dalton
said, "What
are the odds!" And
he just kept saying
it over and over
again. It
was hilarious.
Brooks is
5 months old. Wow I can't believe he is that old already.
We started him on solid foods this week. He is slowly getting
the hang of it. I forgot how messy this stage is!! He is a very
happy, content, and smiley baby. He smiles and talks to anyone
who pays
attention
to him.
He
loves to
laugh.
It
is
really
cute. He is very smiley and loves to coo and talk. He
is a lot
of fun
to
hold
and cuddle. He is sleeping 10-11 hours at night now. Brooks really likes
the exersaucer walker type thing I got out the other day.
It has toys all around in and he can put his feet down on the
floor and walk in a circle. He is obsessed with playing and eating
his hands. He has gotten his
thumb a
couple of times too. He loves rolling over both ways
to get toys and move around. He is grasping objects and loves playing with
chew toys and rattles. Brooks started splashing in the bath like
crazy. He loves being outside to look
around. He loves Ashby & Dalton
and will always smile and coo when they talk to him. He
loves to play in the baby gym we have. He also likes sitting
in the Bumbo seat
now. We love having him in our family
and feel blessed by his little spirit every
day.
