Mail
Time
Materials :
- Paper
- Crayons, markers,
pencils, pens, etc.
- Stickers, glue, decorations
- Envelope
- Stamps
- Address Book
Directions:
- Have the child decide
who they would like to send a special card to (if they are old
enough, if not you decide!)
- Have the child decorate
the card however they would like using stickers, markers, crayons,
or any other type of decoration
- Have child practice
writing letters on the card (especially their name if they are
old enough)
- Have child put card
in the envelope, lick, and seal (Ashby's favorite part!)
- Help the child write
the address on the envelope & put the stamp on
- Go outside and have
the child put the letter in the mailbox
- This is a great introduction
for children to learn about mail & mail carriers
